Wonderful stay at the Barefoot Mailman! Loved the room, the amenities, the location, and best of all it is PET-FRIENDLY! Safe and clean, and conveniently located just off of the beach. Just a few blocks north of the boardwalk, and a wide variety of local restaurants all around. Our 2 dogs loved it just as much as we did, especially since we waited until October when there are no dog restrictions on the boardwalk and beach.

My husband and I wanted somewhere to go for our 11th wedding anniversary where we could bring our children and our dog. Due to the whole covid situation we wanted to go somewhere we could have fun and still feel safe. I found this gem on trip advisor and after reading several reviews I decided to give them a call. The lady on the phone was so helpful answering all of my questions I felt comfortable enough to book our 2 night /3 day trip 8/20-8/22. We arrived almost 2 hours earlier than check in and Leticia was so accommodating. Our room happened to be ready so she allowed us to check in earlier. She even gave us a room on the 5th floor so we could enjoy the beautiful view of the bay (definitely a must have). Once we arrived to our room I was blown away by how wonderful the room smelled and how clean it was. You would never think pets were staying in this hotel. Also a HUGE plus, the bedroom floors are laminate. NO CARPET! Love that! It’s easier to clean any accidents. Also we never heard dogs barking in the middle of the night. Again you would never think pets were staying there.

This is my first time writing a review in my life! This was the first time my family has stayed at this motel… we were a little nervous because the price was AMAZING and way more affordable then any other hotel/motel! The second we walked into the office to check in, we knew it was a great place to stay! The staff was very personable and friendly. Our room was clean and had a very fresh scent. The floor was laminate ( I love that because of the sand). You would never know pets were allowed here ( no smell or dander anywhere). There was a full sized refrigerator and freezer with all utensils, pots, pans, etc. provided. There was an extra sink/vanity outside of the bathroom which was convenient when you have 2 teenage girls staying with you! The maid was so friendly and checked on us often. We had a short stay so we never asked for our room to be cleaned daily but she made sure she left us clean towels, wash cloths, etc. outside of our room daily. The location of the hotel is great and less then a block to the beach. We will definitely be staying again! I’m so happy we found this gem!

Booked this hotel for my family and dog and could not have been more pleased. Room was clean, we opted out of daily maid service due to covid but the staff checked on us daily and gave us all the towels that we needed. I saw staff check the chemicals in the pool and there always seemed to be someone cleaning. The room was spacious, the elevator was clean and always free, parking was easy. Location was great: walking distance to a good deli, an Ice cream place and several bars and restaurants. Short walk to beach which was not very crowded. Great spot, highly recommend!

Great Location, clean, allows pets, very friendly staff. This hotel has several efficiency rooms and parking in a garage so you car is out of the heat. It is located near a lot of great eating places and shopping places. The maids are very nice and helpful.

I have stayed here 2 years in a row for the annual ravens roost convention and parade. The service is outstanding. the rooms are great and its pet friendly. You are Close to all of the fun and the beach. The pool is relaxing. there is always easy parking. You are also right by a bus stop to utilize public transportation for those fun travels without ride share fees. You will not regret staying here I did not and I will keep booking for years to come.

Just returned from another stay. We got an efficiency and were pleased. It was clean and well supplied. As soon as we arrived, our dog started her happy whine and did a little dance all the way up to the room in the “magic box” (elevator). She charged into the room, jumped on the bed and promptly got comfy. And how cute are those planters by the office door? A few steps from the beach, a few steps to some really awesome bars/eateries, a few steps to nearly everything. We love crossing the street and taking the bus down to the beginning of the Boardwalk (pier) in the evening, or to mini golf. So convenient! Clean, convenient and cute. They don’t just allow pets but welcome them.
